The Symphony of Alpha Chi Omega

The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the fraternity, providing support to individual members, to chapters and to the Fraternity in the form of educational grants. The Foundation financially supports Leadership Academy, IMPACT Alpha Chi Omega and Kristin's Story, as well as other educational programming. Domestic Violence Awareness

Alpha Chi Omega encourages its members to support victims of domestic violence through connections with local agencies, and to assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and hands-on activities to eliminate domestic violence. In San Diego alone, collegiate and alumnae chapters have donated time, money and items to the Oceanside Women's Resource Center and to Becky's House.

Alcohol and Dating Violence Awareness

Alpha Chi Omega focuses on educating its members about alcohol awareness and dating violence awareness through proactive chapter-level and national programming and resources.

MacDowell Colony

The MacDowell Colony, located in Peterborough, New Hampshire, was Alpha Chi Omega's first altruistic project and upholds our tradition of interest in the fine arts. National best-seller "Lovely Bones" was written by acclaimed author Alice Sebold while she was an artist-in-residence at the MacDowell Colony.
